Robot impressed in the world in 2015

Robots is a technology of technologies that know a great development during the past few years, where varied innovations and these sophisticated devices have become available for all areas, but a group of scientists and researchers have made a new discovery which shall and your new robot is totally different from what we've seen in the past. And despite the fact that it is like a film of science fiction, but the truth is that it comes to reality, where a group of researchers from the University of Munich technical and Massachusetts Institute of Technology revealed on the sidelines of their participation in the activities of the private "ICRA" Conference Balrubotik in the US city of Seattle for this robot mini .Android's new is in the form of a sheet of polyvinyl chloride "PVC" and equipped with a magnet confined between two layers of polystyrene, and this paper is divided into two squares the size of 1.7 cm for each section and weighs 0.31 grams, then it is placed on a hot surface in order to be attached and becomes capable of movement, and it is controlled by four rollers Kahrodinameh create electromagnetic fields allows to control and guide the robot.Researchers rely in the future on the development of this small robot for use in a number of areas and including complex surgeries.

The Techaholix team, representing several Beaverton School District middle schools, received a Judges Award for Old School Perfection, while Westview High School’s Hot Wired team ended up placing ninth in its division.

Techaholix, which consists of 14 middle school students from Stoller Middle School, Meadow Park Middle School and the International School of Beaverton, received its award based on criteria such as the unique effort a team puts forth, and performance or dynamics that merit recognition, according to coach Shreyas Saitawdekar.

Saitawdekar said the judges told the team that the award “recognizes the team that values doing things by hand.”

Team captain Sonia Saitawdekar said she was pleased with her Techaholix team’s performance at the event.

“Our team faced challenges in the beginning with the robot's motors; a few DC motors failed,” she said. “However, the pit crew managed to replace them before matches quickly. It was a tough competition, but the drive team still performed well in scoring points.”

The team was happy with their judge's award as well.

"The judges were amazed by our ability to make complex robot components using basic tools, which is why we won the Old School Perfection Award,” Sonia Saitawdekar said.
